Gobekli Tepe is an ancient city that dates back over 12,000 years ago, which is about 5,000 years older than assumed by Judeo-Christian believers. It was re-discovered in 1994 by some archgaeologists doing some modern excavating in southeast Turkey. What they found was amazing. They found 19 foot tall stones and others that weighed up to 100 tons underground. On the stones were carvings of unusual looking animals that may have been indigenous in those times. They must have used advanced tools or technology to create this city given the hardness of the stone in the area. They have barely even began to dig up the remains of Gobekli Tepe but underground radar suggests that they still have not yet uncovered 90% of the city and they can see underground circular structures suggesting that the city may be even bigger and older than originally thought. As of now, Gobekli Tepe is the oldest civilization ever discovered.
